Abstract
The Confederation of Athena Ilias, located in the Troad, is known almost exclusively thanks to epigraphic testimonies. The analysis of these with respect to financial administration (expenditures, sources of income, administrators, etc.), makes it possible to discern both strictness and flexibility in the local practices, which helped assure the longevity of the koinon.
