Abstract

The paper presents results of exploitation testing of the treatment quality with tractor orchard sprayer in pesticide application in vineyard using three different types of nozzles. A comparative study was conducted using nozzles of Arag company, marks: HC 80-04, 80-04 HCC and HCA 80-04 injector nozzle. The treatment was conducted using different norms: 300, 500 and 700 l/ha. It was analyzes impact of norms on treatment quality and productivity. For all three types of nozzle for easier objective comparison, it was used same operating pressure of 10 bar. Using different pressures imply different droplets spectra which can affect on liquid vertical distribution quality. To determine quantity of active substances - pesticides, which targeted area, tracer was used, because it is easy to use, and is not toxic at manipulation. In the test, was used a solution of 0.5% Tartrazine in water. In all three treatment norms, the biggest - the most favorable quantity of active substance was measured using the injector nozzles HCA 80-04, with a range from 41% at norm of 300 l/ha, up to 55% at norm of 700 l/ha.
