Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti'ne ait 49 Masal metninin Stıth Thompson'nun Halk Edebiyatı Motif Katoloğuna Göre Motiflerin Sıralanması

Abstract

Masallar üzerindeki çalışmalar önceleri sadece metinlerin ortaya konulması şeklinde gelişmişti. Fakat bu metinlerin inceleme konusu olduğu zaman yararlanmayı kolaylaştırmak için bazı tedbirlerin alınması gerekiyordu. Farklı ülkelerden derlenen masalların benzer masalların bir araya gelmesi durumunda hepsinin ortak bir ad veya numara ile anılması, o masallardan yararlanılmasını kolaylaştırmıştır. Stith Thompson tarafından geliştirilen “masal tip indeksi halkbilimi analizlerine kaynak olarak kullanılmaktadır.
 Bu çalışmamız “Kıbrıs Türk Masallarını Derleme İnceleme” adlı yüksek lisans tezinde bulunan 49 masal metni, Sttıth Thompson’un Halk Edebiyatı Katoloğuna göre motiflerin sıralaması yapılmıştır. Amacımız bu alanda çalışma yapmak isteyen araştırmacılara makalemizin bir yol gösterici olmasıdır. Sahada derlenen 49 masal metninde bulunan masallara motif indeksine göre numara verilmiştir. .

 ORDERİNG THE MOTİFS OF 49 FAIRY TEXTS FROM THE TURKISH REPUBLIC OF NORTH CYPRUS ACCORDING TO STITH THOMPSON’S FOLK LİTERATURE MOTIF CATOLOG
 
 
 Abstract
 
 Studies on fair tales had previously developed only as the presentation of texts. However, when these texts were the subject of examination, some measures had to be taken to facilitate their use. The fact that the tales compiled from different countries are mentioned with a common name or number in case similar tales come together made if easier to benefit from those tales. The “Tale Type Index” developed by Stith Thompson is used as a source for folklore analysis
 In the master’s thesis named “Cyprus Turkish Tales Compilation and Analysis” were ordered according to Stith Thompson’s Folk Literature Catalogue. Our aim is to work in this field. The tales found in 49 tale texts compiled in the field were numbered according to the motif index.
