Abstract
Abstract HW is a Ni-Fe-Cr alloy with moderate creep-rupture strength, good ductility, and an exceptional carburization resistance for service up to 1120 deg C (2050 deg F). The resistance of the alloy to thermal fatigue and shock make it particularly suited for furnace components operating in carburizing environments. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-655.
