The returning of Prince’s corpse to Poland, memorial services and a burial at Wawel were significant to the Polish society. Numerous literary works were glorifying Poniatowski’s patriotism. The proof of Poniatowski’s worship were efforts to build his statue in Warsaw and anniversary celebrations in 1913, described in detail in this dissertation.
