Abstract
Who wants methodology? Who? Or on ornithologists and birds (Wprowadzenie do metodologii historii, ed. Ewa Domańska, Jan Pomorski, Wydawnictwo Naukowe PWN, Warsaw 2022, 572pp) The article is a critical analysis of a methodology of history textbook. The author questions the concept of the book as an academic textbook, the understanding of the concept of the methodology of history presented in it, and selected chapters on specific issues. Attention is drawn to the conceptual disorder in almost all parts of the book and the low substantive quality of most of the pieces included in it.
