Abstract
The adsorption of I− ions on the cadmium cathode surface is shown to depend on the interaction mechanism between the components of water-acetone mixtures. During a competitive adsorption of anions and organic solvent molecules, this affects the mechanism and the rate of electrodeposition and also the coating quality.
