Abstract

When going towards events in the world, Journalism reveals modes of organizing space, principles of doing, juxtaposed with the institutional, discursive and production structures of each medium. The article explores the movements of the Latin American newspapers O Estado de S. Paulo (Brazil), El Tiempo (Colombia) and El Comercio (Ecuador) vis-à-vis the Angostura event and sketches flowcharts of the three newspapers’ coverage.Key words: Journalism, event, conflict.
