Abstract

It is not easy to unravel the threads of memory because, like history and pedagogical activity in the SENA, they are surrounded by concepts and strategies used throughout 60 years of training in the country and by characters who have intervened in its conception, design, and practice. The task involves recovering the institutional history’s experiences, based on the voices of each actor and the mission that has been entrusted to the entity. In this occasion, a conversation with Jorge Eduardo Cruz Romero is developed, considered by a good part of the educational community of SENA as a pedagogue of exemplary trajectory and as an active part of a group of professionals who have worked for the consolidation of the pedagogical proposal in this institution.
