Abstract
Mosquitoes interact with humans and can cause many diseases. This study aims to find the types of diurnal mosquitoes present in the Juhut Village area of Pandeglang. Sampling was conducted with two repetitions. The first repetition was conducted on September 21-22, 2024 and the second repetition was conducted on October 5-6, 2024, with two different houses. Active collection was conducted from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Mosquitoes were captured using an aspirator, and temperature and humidity were measured every hour. Captured mosquitoes were then put into paper cups that had been labeled and coded according to the period, location, and location of the captured mosquitoes. Based on the observation, there are genus Culex and Aedes. The Culex genus has several species including Culex perexiguus, Culex quinquefasciatus, Culex fuscocephala, and Culex vishnui. The Aedes genus has two species namely, Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus.
