Abstract: This special issue, “Jean Echenoz, ‘comme une nécessité physique’: Action and Bodies in Space,” deals with the corporeality at work in Jean Echenoz’s narratives. It builds on the significant scholarship on space in the author’s work to examine more closely how bodies move in the narrative space, how they contribute to shape that space, and how they are affected by it as well
