Abstract

The theoretical analysis necessary to isolate the effects of nuclear and Coulomb interactions in admixing the three ${4}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ states at 17.79, 18.98, and 19.80 MeV in $^{16}\mathrm{O}$ is presented. An isospin mixing matrix element of 110\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}10 keV is determined to be compatible with the recent pion and deuteron induced reaction cross sections.NUCLEAR REACTIONS Isospin Mixing; Pion and deuteron induced reactions.
