Abstract

A method is described for the purification of lysine tRNA of Bacillus subtilis by sequential passage of the native and oxidized forms through benzoylated DEAE-cellulose columns. The distinct elution pattern of the oxidized form resulted in a lysine tRNA preparation with a purity of 66 %.
