Islamic Character Valuesin the animated film Hafiz & Hafizah

Abstract

The rise of moral degradation that occurs in students, one of the causes is the open flow of modernization and without direct supervision from parents. Therefore, education has an important role in providing provisions and direction regarding religious character in students. Islamic character education is very important to be given to students starting from an early age to the elementary school level. These learning efforts certainly require learning media that can be used, namely through videos or movies. This is done to convey as well as providing an overview of religious character in accordance with the teachings of Islam in everyday life. One of the animated films that provides an overview of Islamic character nuances is Hafiz & Hafizah. The purpose of this research is to find out the values of Islamic character education in the animated film Hafiz & Hfaizah. The results of the research obtained are the existence of Islamic characters towards Allah, namely tawakal, always remembering Allah in any condition, and saying thayyiba sentences. Islamic characters towards themselves are patient, while Islamic characters with the environment are helping each other, giving advice or motivation, sharing, honesty, and forgiving each other. While the Islamic character towards the surrounding natural environment is planting trees and maintaining cleanliness
