Abstract

The article describes the mechanisms of coagulation and coalescence of emulsion droplets in electric fields, and also defines the frequency ranges at which coagulation and coalescence of emulsion droplets occurs, and the establishment times of these processes. The experiments revealed the tendency to increase the intensity of the studied processes with increasing field strength and salinity of the aqueous phase.
