Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the mediating role of self-differentiation and emotion regulation in the relationship between dyadic perfectionism and marital satisfaction. The results showed significant negative relationship between the dyadic perfectionism variable with self-differentiation and marital satisfaction, and a positive significant relationship between the dyadic perfectionism variable and emotion regulation (p < 0.01). The dyadic perfectionism variable had a negative effect on marital satisfaction indirectly through self-differentiation and a positive effect on marital satisfaction through emotion regulation.
