Abstract

There has been a growing emphasis on examining the impact of mindfulness and emotion regulation on relationship outcomes. This study explores the potential mediating role of mindfulness and challenges in emotion regulation in the connection between marital life satisfaction and couple burnout, which collectively influence the general well-being and quality of life of couples. A structural equation model was constructed, and the model’s fit indices were deemed acceptable. It was determined that mindfulness and difficulties in emotion regulation, in combination, serially mediated the association between couple burnout and marital life satisfaction.
