Abstract
The interview reconstructs the deep reasons for the still current need to conduct worker’s inquiries, exploring the history and tradition of this approach. An important theme addressed is that of technological innovation related to industry 4.0: its impact on workers’s conditions and Fiom-Cgil’s demands and bargaining.
