Abstract
The article summarizes the international experience in management the competitiveness of the regional industry and its adaptation to the Ukrainian realities.The author noted that today, the logic of development of industrial competitiveness, including regional aspect must meet the challenges of modern international economic relations. The current dynamics of international economic relations demonstrates strengthening the role of collective efforts in the formation of proportionate responses to the crises of the world market.Main objectives of the public policy of the leading world countries have been underlined. The priorities in advanced production technologies in EU, USA and China have been identified. The analysis of the features of the management competitiveness in the leading world countries has been conducted. The global industrial competitiveness index in 2016 and forecast for 2020 has been presented and analyzed. It has been concluded that the competitiveness of the industry in the regions of Ukraine will be much higher with the work of state regional policy which is based on European principles and strengthened by the reform of administrative and territorial structure.
