Abstract

The article analyzes the concept of integral competence and proposes an approach to formation of the integral competence structure of future IT specialists. The results of research on interdisciplinary connections are analyzed. It is revealed that an interdisciplinary project is an effective means for forming the integral competence of future IT specialists. The method of forming integral competence of future IT specialists based on the implementation of interdisciplinary projects is substantiated. In particular, the content component of the methodology is based on the availability of electronic training courses in the disciplines of the project, and a practical project-oriented task, the implementation of which involves the application of acquired knowledge, skills and abilities in the course of studying the relevant disciplines. The practical orientation of the content of the task and its application are of great importance for motivating students to engage in business. The main teaching techniques in the proposed methodology are design and mixed learning. A methodological approach is competent. Organizational and methodological approaches to the use of interdisciplinary projects for the formation and development of integral competence are proposed. Cloud services and tools to be used while working on a project habe been defined and described. An example and results of an experimental research using interdisciplinary projects as a means of forming integral competence are given. The model of formation of integral competence for the given example is offered. The complex of general and professional competences formed during the implementation of this project was determined, indicators of measuring the level of formation of integral competence in future IT specialists were substantiated. The results of the experimental research, which show that the combination of the formation of professional competences from different disciplines in solving one project problem in addition to the formation of general competences, give an opportunity to increase the level of formation of integral competence of the future IT specialist.
