Abstract

1. The ability of ribosomes prepared from rat liver and transplantable hepatoma cells to bind nuclear RNA (nRNA) was further studied. 2. Previous results on selective recognition of homologous RNA by rat liver ribosomes were confirmed. 3. Hepatoma ribosomes appear to retain an ability to recognize liver nRNA and are capable of binding liver nRNA preferentially to their own hepatoma nRNA or phage f2 RNA.
