Abstract
Vertigo is a common complaint in neurology and it can also happen in children. A thorough understanding of the possible underlying causes facilitates the correct diagnosis and guides the proper management in such cases. Of high importance is the rapid distinction between life threatening conditions and relatively benign entities when dealing with a child complaining of vertigo, in an acute setting. This article aims to review the different causes of vertigo in children and to present relevant cases from our experience, at ”Dr. Victor Gomoiu” Children’s Hospital, Neurology Department.
