Abstract

Cooperation between universities and industry in different countries has its own implementation specifics, but the goal of this cooperation is universal – to promote knowledge-based economic development. Industry and universities are connected by innovations and ideas to create new products, universities and the state are connected in the areas of investment, strategic planning and labor demand. Industry and government are linked by creating jobs, shaping taxes, and implementing government policies. Therefore, innovative development involves the creation of an interdependent, mutually beneficial and mutually effective model of cooperation based on the triple helix principle. The article considers the current situation and problems of implementation and coordination of program documents in Mongolia in the field of development of cooperation between the university and industry in the context of the implementation of the triple helix model.
