Abstract

Energy saving is one of the most urgent tasks in the field of industrial production, because the costs of different types of energy used in the production process constitute the lion's share of production costs in general, and this significantly affects the efficiency and use of technologies and technological processes. This also applies to the use of evaporative systems in the construction of housing and industrial facilities. This traditional technology, is constantly complemented by new innovative components that increase the efficiency of both the evaporative systems themselves and the entire cycle as a whole. In this case, we are not talking about point improvements, but about systematic, permanent work on energy saving in such systems. Of great importance in the use of innovative solutions and their dissemination is the fact that the standards and approaches of existing certification programs are used to assess their quality and effectiveness. The use of such programs is very important because it makes it possible to get an independent, objective, comprehensive assessment of the innovative solutions under consideration. It is also important that, on the basis of the complex assessments obtained, a project gets an opportunity to earn additional points, which is taken into account when deciding whether to receive a loan for the implementation of energy-saving technologies. It is also significant that when using new technologies and improvements, important problems are solved in parallel, such as water purification, reduction of its consumption, saving other resources - electricity, auxiliary materials, etc. In this article, from an economic point of view, the possibilities of using evaporative systems of different types as well as the effectiveness of additional measures for solving energy saving issues are considered. Such approaches in modern design of cooling towers, for example, allow us to state that the concept of “green building” has evolved in recent years from innovative chance into a systemic work and standard for many communities.
