Abstract
The purpose. The article is devoted to the development of the definition of «innovative development of the passenger company» on the basis of a deep analysis of existing approaches and definitions of the concepts «development», «innovative development of the enterprise», «innovative development of rail transport». Methods. To solve the problem, the author uses methods of scientific abstraction, deduction, logical formalization, system analysis. The Results . The author developed his own guidelines for creating a decomposition scheme for the concept of «innovative enterprise development» and defined the concept of «innovative development of a passenger railway company». The practical significance . For the first time, the concept of development of a passenger railway was defined from the standpoint of system and stakeholder approaches and the allocation of sources of innovation. Thus, the development of the passenger railway is a purposeful systematic process of positive changes in the quality of all its subsystems through the introduction of innovations in the activities of the passenger company with the goal of achieving both the objectives of innovation activities and the strategic goals of the company and improving its attractiveness for all stakeholders. This definition will become a basis for developing the theoretical and methodological foundations of the system for ensuring the innovative development of the passenger company, which will improve the efficiency of its innovative development.
