Abstract

The current economic and political situation is characterized by high level of instability and unpredictability, dynamic changes and large number of destabilizing factors. Mechanisms for sustainable development allow companies not only adjust to negative effects of the environment, but also to evolve continuously. From an economic point of view, the sustainable development concept is based on the maximum flow of aggregate income theory. It implicates the optimal use of limited resources and environmentally friendly consumption, including the extraction and processing of raw materials. These tasks include finding and applying innovative technologies to provide oilfield services. The development of high-tech services in this sphere is highly important. At present, Russian companies are mostly using Western technology solutions in oilfield services. Current foreign policy toward Russia put this sphere at risk. Finding the most appropriate conditions for the Russian organizational and economic models of oil and gas service is important in terms of sustainable development. The paper presents a systematic analysis of modern international practice models used for organizing services in oil and gas industry, including high-tech services. The most promising business models in oilfield services in order to enhance the sustainability of Russian oil and gas complex are considered.
