Innovating teaching approach of clinical basic skills to improve clinical comprehensive ability of medical students

Abstract

In order to improve the clinical comprehensive ability of medical students, based on the actual situation, Shantou University Medical College(SUMC) put forward a lot of measures to reform basic clinical skills training model, such as establishing clinical skills training center, integrating clinical basic skills courses, constructing whole training clinical competence training model. SUMC used modern educational techniques and combined bedside teaching with various teaching methods to explore an effective way which could strengthen students' clinical ability.
