Abstract
The preparation of 2D nanosheets with suitable bandgaps for photodynamic applications has been a challenge. In their Research Article (e202215795), Han Lin, Jianlin Shi, and co-workers report a cutting-edge regulatory approach to create H-terminated germanene with a biomedically favorable direct bandgap by simple surface chemical modulation for application in cancer photodynamic therapy.
