Abstract
Cellulite, popularly known as orange peel, has become an affliction of around 80-95% of the world’s population. Until now, it was believed that it occurs only in women, but after many years of research it turned out that it can also occur in men. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of ultrasonic liposuction in anti-cellulite therapy based on the conducted study. The causes, symptoms and preventive measures were presented. Currently, cellulite is seen mainly as an aesthetic problem. However, it has been proven that at a more advanced stage it can lead to serious lesions. There are many methods of cellulite therapy available, but due to the complexity of the problem, systematic and multi-target activities are important, taking into account diet and physical activity.
