Abstract

Objective To explore the treatment mechanism of inferior turbinate injection of prednisolone on perennial allergic rhinitis(PAR).Methods ELISA and chemiluminescence were used to detect the changes of IL-4,IL-5,IgE in inferior turbinate injection of prednisolone group (treatment group),loratadine group(control group) and healthy group(normal group). Results Compared with the normal group, serum IL-4,IL-5,IgE of 2 groups before treatment were significantly increased (P < 0.01).After treatment, the serum IL-4 level of the treatment group was (62.76 ± 18.21) ng/L,IL-5 level was (24.32 ±9.47) ng/L,IgE level was (112.4 ±57.8) mg/L,compared with before treatment, the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).After treatment,IL-4 level of the control group was (140.18 ±25.78) ng/L,IL-5 level was (60.17 ± 17.28) ng/L,IgE level was (186.2 ±55.3) mg/L,compared with before treatment, the differences were not statistically significant(P > 0.05).Conclusions The serum IL-4,IL-5,IgE levels of PAR patients were higher than normal group.Inferior turbinate injection of prednisolone could decrease the IL-4,IL-5,IgE levels and effectively treat PAR.
