Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on the deep venous thrombosis of the patients with severe craniocerebral injury. Methods A total of 200 patients with severe craniocerebral injury were randomly divided into two observation group and control group.Control group adopted conventional nursing, Observation group adopted conventional nursing and comprehensive nursing intervention, which contained of whole process of rehabilitation training, body position intervention, wear of elastic stockings and intermittent pneumatic compression pumps.Lower limb swelling, incidence of DVT and pulmonary embolism during hospitalization in the two groups were compared. Results The incidence of lower limb swelling in the observation group and control group were 9% and 17% respectively, the incidences of DVT were 5% and 10% respectively, the incidences of pulmonary embolism of observation group were 0% and 2% respectively, which were significantly lower than those of control group. Conclusions Comprehensive nursing intervention can effectively prevent the occurrence of DVT after severe craniocerebral injury and promote the rehabilitation.
