Abstract
The article attempts to formulate the problem of the influence and correlation of artificial intelligence on the process of developing the creative abilities ofpainters. The content component is represented by the integration of topics, taking into account artificial intelligence in the courses of special disciplines in the direction of preparation / specialty 54.05.02 «Painting». The author comes to the conclusion that the possibilities of artificial intelligence are additional, but limited in the area where the spiritual beginning and the creation of a work of art take place. First-year students get acquainted with the areas of application and basic concepts of the special course, and also during practical classes gain experience in project activities to understand the possibilities and prospects for the development of artificial intelligence technologies in the visual arts. This special course is responsible for familiarizing future artists in higher education with the scientificfield of artificial intelligence and technologies for creating intelligent systems that can transform the functions of human intelligence.
