Abstract

This article examines the theoretical aspects of the strategic management of the higher education system, including an analysis of the main concepts and methods used in this area. The authors describe in detail various approaches to the management of higher education, such as strategic planning, performance evaluation and change management. In addition, the article provides an overview of current trends and challenges facing the higher education system, as well as a discussion of the need to adapt strategic management to changing conditions. The results of the study can be useful both for higher education managers and for researchers who are interested in the problems of strategic management in higher education. The purpose of the article is to present a theoretical basis for the practical application of strategic management in the higher education system and ensure the effective development of educational institutions.
