Incipient Fault Detection in Rotating Machinery by Using Artificial Neural Networks

Abstract

Detection of incipient failures is a fundamental issue in routing machines. A new approach for on-line detection of incipient faults is proposed. This methodology is based on vibration monitoring dau and fuzzy art neural networks. Numerical results demonstrating the high efficiency of the proposed approach are presented.
