Abstract
The cardiologic community deeply grieves the untimely death of Pablo A. Chiale, MD, on September 20, 2014, after a 43-year distinguished career. Born in Buenos Aires on July 12, 1944, he graduated from the School of Medicine, Buenos Aires University in 1970. He started his training in the worldwide-known Argentinean School of Electrocardiography founded by our internationally respected teacher Mauricio B. Rosenbaum. Pablo soon stood out as a remarkable trainee full of energetic inquisitiveness to seek answers to fundamental questions and passion for his daily work. Chiale spent his entire career at the Cardiology Division, Ramos Mejia Hospital. During my chiefship of the Division, he was always an exceptional and committed coworker, and as such he was appointed Chief, In-Ward Unit and Director of the Arrhythmia Center of Buenos Aires hospitals.
