Abstract
Production use of a method of catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides under conditions of high temperature firing of technical ceramics has shown the possibility of reducing their concentration by 30% and that of carbon monoxide by 15% without a change in the parameters of thermal operation of the kiln. Reliable operation of the coating for 900 h of kiln service makes it possible to recommend the method of suppression of nitrogen oxides for modernization of refractory industry firing kilns. The coating composition developed and tested answers the rigid service requirements of high-temperature thermal processes.
