Improvements in Planning Methods of Collaboration Among Comecon Countries

Abstract

The adoption of the Integrated Program for the Further Intensification and Improvement of Collaboration and the Development of Socialist Economic Integration Among COMECON Member Nations was an event of historic importance in the life of fraternal socialist countries. The purposive program for the development of integration and the clear-cut definition of its goals and directions become objectively necessary. The Integrated Program reflects the striving of these nations to secure still closer reciprocal political and economic rapprochement and cooperation and the further growth of the productive forces on the basis of the utilization of the advantages of the socialist economic system.
