Abstract
AbstractIn this paper, a dielectric resonator oscillator (DRO) for high output power and low phase noise is proposed. Two kinds of oscillators are designed and measured in this study. The first oscillator has an improved structure for high output power and low phase noise, while the second has only the conventional structure of the oscillator with an amplifier. Measurements show the improvement of the proposed oscillator's performance, compared to that of the conventional oscillator. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
