Abstract
The general objective of this article is to analyze the importance of ergonomics and postural hygiene in patients with cardiovascular diseases. The methodology was based on a systematic review using the qualitative method. A comprehensive search was performed for all publications up to June 14, 2024, using the Google Scholar and PubMed databases. The literature included dates from the years 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 until June 2024. Considering the research strategy, this search and review process followed the PRISMA method (Preferred Reporting Elements for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses). When applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 125 articles out of 152 were discarded, resulting in 32 articles selected for analysis. The main results reveal that 44% of the articles analyzed focus attention on ergonomics and cardiovascular problems, while 38% refer to physical posture, also 19% outline the workload and the relationship with the cardiovascular diseases. It is concluded that the articles analyzed allowed us to strengthen knowledge about ergonomics and cardiovascular diseases from the opinion and analysis of the different authors, highlighting the incidence of workload and physical postures in cardiovascular diseases. It is expected that the reflections mentioned in this article will allow ergonomics professionals to expand and strengthen knowledge and effectively address the needs for improvement in human activity within organizations and jobs.
