Abstract
The anticipation of the working day has become a moment full of surprises during the social distancing caused by the pandemic. Everyone was surprised by the new virus. It was necessary to adapt to the unexpected, reinventing teaching through remote online classes, WhatsApp groups, delivery of printed activities, Facebook, etc., following the course of education through technologies and media. This article is written in this context, with the aim of reflecting on the implications of the social distancing of the COVID-19 pandemic on school education. The research took a qualitative, bibliographical approach. We believe that the pandemic has served, and continues to serve, to demonstrate how much of a warrior our Education Professionals (with a capital P) are, often sacrificing their time off to pay attention to the parents and family members of the school community who have been desperately seeking them out of office hours in recent months.
