Abstract
The International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) is an international standard that allows interoperability of images and collections of images developed by a community of academic and cultural institutions. This paper will discuss how the National Library of Wales (NLW) has used IIIF for its own benefit in reducing costs for developing digital viewers and websites. The paper also discusses the collaboration and interoperability options that IIIF provides and what users have done with NLW material.
