Abstract
The article deals with the formation of key competencies in primary school students. In the state standards of the Kyrgyz Republic, when determining the complexes of competencies, special attention is paid to the fulfillment of the requirements of the standard in the process of teaching mathematics in elementary school. When implementing the training of the competency-based approach, the formation of subject competencies along with key competencies is important.
