Abstract

Abstract Education is the government's reference for the compulsory education program as a vehicle for students to develop their potential through the learning process. What educators do is to explore and grow the potential of students, by applying an approach to learning Islamic religious education. As was done by PAI teachers at the research location, PAI teachers apply an approach to exploring the potential of students and activating students in the classroom. The approach in question is a humanist theoretical approach, a concept that humanizes humans, as well as efforts to humanize the sciences while still paying attention to the responsibilities of hablum minallah and hablum minannas. The type of this research is field research with a qualitative approach using descriptive analysis methods. The data collection techniques in this research use obsevation, interview and documentation techniques, while the data analysis techniques in this research consist of ddaa collection, data rduction, data display and verification. The results of this research, namely: First, the implementation of humanistic learning theory in PAI learning is divided into planning, implementation and evaluation. At the planning stage, before carrying out the learning process the teacher makes a learning plan first. In this case, the school has a plan, namely using a lesson plan in which there are seven learning steps, namely unlocking the password, relaxation at the beginning of learning, apperception of learning, pretest, core teaching and learning, posttest, and relaxation at the end of learning. Secondly, the implications of implementing humanist learning theory in terms of learning and the PAI learning process are vertical and horizontal. Vertical religious activities are activities that connect humans with the creator, namely starting all activities with Bismillah, reading prayers before and after studying and reading or singing the Asmaul Husna. Horizontal religious activities include the tradition of greetings, students' respect for teachers by bowing when they pass in front of the teacher and helping friends when they are in trouble. Keywords: Implementation, Humanist Learning Theory and PAI Learning
