Abstract

This research proposes to analyze the implementation of Islamic religious education teachers' responsibilities in shaping student morals at Plus Al Hadi Middle School, Rengel District, Tuban. The main aim of this research is to understand the extent of the role of Islamic education teachers in shaping student morals and the factors that influence the implementation of this responsibility. The research method used is a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with Islamic teachers and direct observation in the school environment. The research results show that Islamic religious education teachers at SMP Plus Al Hadi have a central role in shaping students' morals through teaching, coaching and real examples in everyday life. However, challenges such as a busy curriculum and students' social environment also influence the implementation of these responsibilities. This research provides a deeper understanding of the importance of the role of teachers in shaping student morals in the context of Islamic religious education in junior high schools. The implications of this research can be used to increase the effectiveness of religious education in shaping the morals of students in similar schools and provide guidance for the development of a more holistic religious curriculum.
