Abstract

Da'wah to children who have special needs (ABK) requires methods, approaches, media and special methods, media and messages are needed. Da'wah is essentially communication between the communicator and the communicant to convey messages and information, so that with this communication the da'wah values can be understood, believed and applied to the mad'u. This research aims to find out and describe methods, media and therapeutic communication messages for fardiyyah da'wah for children with special needs at SLB C Bina Grahita Leles Garut. This research uses interpersonal and self theory. The paradigm used in this research is an interpretive paradigm, while the approach used is an interactional approach. The method in this research uses the phenomenological method. The type of research is qualitative, while the data sources in this research are divided into two, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques use observation and interviews. The data analysis procedure uses data reduction, data analysis, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that da'wah for children with special needs uses therapeutic communication which is carried out at SLB C Bina Grahita Leles Garut through persuasive communication which is carried out continuously and intensively both through verbal and non-verbal communication
