Abstract

1. Impedance parameters of biological objects give valuable diagnostic information, and impedance methods can be widely used in various branches of medicine for research and diagnostic purposes. 2. Active resistance and electric capacity are major elements of models of biological objects. Both active resistance and electric capacity of biological objects can be measured by the same instruments that are used to measure impedance of technical objects. 3. Experimental studies have revealed specific ranges of active and reactive impedance components and measuring frequencies in various biological objects. 4. Simultaneous impedance measurements in different points allows implementation of multichannel measuring modes and devices. 5. Information content of impedance measurements determines specific areas of their application in biological research and medical diagnosis. 6. Impedance measurements provide promising diagnostic method which can be widely used in various branches of medicine and biology.
