Methods A total of 82 stroke patients received in this hospital from October, 2011 to May, 2014 were randomly selected, divided into observation group (42) and control group (40) according to the rescue time order of admission.Regular emergency nursing procedure with rescue were given to the patients of control group and optimized emergency nursing procedure made according to the actual situation (including medical level and the local actual living standard of our hospital) of this hospital were given to the patients of observation group to observe and compare the time of two groups of patients from clinical reception to confirmed diagnosis, time from confirmed diagnosis to vocational diagnosis and treatment, including the fatality rate, disability rate and complication rate after receiving treatment. In addition, the satisfaction on the stroke patients with optimized emergency nursing procedure was investigated and analyzed. Results After diagnosis, the difference had no statistical significance regarding the stroke type comparison of observation group and control group(P>0.05). The treatment condition of patients in observation group was significantly superior to control group, including from clinical reception to confirmed diagnosis, time from confirmed diagnosis to vocational diagnosis, treatment and hospitalization costs. The difference had statistical significance(P<0.05). In addition, the fatality rate and disability rate of patients in observation group were obviously lower than control group, and the difference had statistical significance(P<0.05). In addition to this, the rescue satisfaction of patients in observation group was obviously superior to control group, and the difference had statistical significance obviously(P<0.05). Conclusion Optimized emergency nursing procedure can effectively improve the clinical reception and diagnosis time, reduce the fatality rate and disability rate, decrease the occurrence rate of patients related complications, improve the rescue effect and satisfaction of stroke patients, which is worth having popularization and application.
