Image Features of Face Recognition and Matching Techniques Research Based on Machine Learning

Abstract

Face recognition technology has the characteristics of low cost and high accuracy. It is a widely used biometric identification technology. Image feature extraction and feature matching are the main steps to carry out face recognition technology, and they are the basis of face recognition. The foresaid two things in the process of implementing face recognition technology have always been a popular research fields for scholars. The paper gives an overview of image feature extraction and matching technology based on machine learning, and provides some suggestions for the application of face recognition technology.
