Abstract

This article focuses on two documents sheding light on the cultural taste of Paolo Coccapani, the bishop of Reggio (1584-1650), an important collector of paintings, drawings and antiques. The first manuscript is an Inventory of furniture that includes an interesting list of works of art, containing information on how they were displayed in the Episcopal Palace. The second one is an accounting document that allows us to establish when drawings from the Coccapani heritage.
