Abstract
The paper extends the integral equation fast Fourier transform (IE-FFT) to the solution of volume-surface integral equation (VSIE). The volume integral equation is formulated for dielectric object and the electric field integral equation is formulated for conducting surfaces. The floating stencil topology is implemented to further reduce the memory requirement and CPU time for the IE-FFT solution. Numerical results are presented to demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the method.
